 Aberdeen Real Estate 

  Aberdeen is a small township south east of Keyport, New Jersey. The township itself contains the towns of Freneau, Cliffwood, Cliffwood Beach, Clayton, River Gardens, Woodfield, Strathmore, and Oakshades. Around 20,000 people live in Aberdeen Township, and the area is around 5.4 square miles.

Aberdeen Home Prices

    The various neighborhoods in Aberdeen Township offer some great choices for real estate. The prices range from around $200K to over $500K, and many of the smaller communities are offer upscale living and amenities. You also have a choice of new or pre-owned Aberdeen homes.

Aberdeen real estate vary widely, from the classic and comfortable suburban designs to brownstone-styled townhomes. However, many of the more expensive homes come with a larger lot and better yards. Currently there is also some new construction in progress in Aberdeen. The Estates at Aberdeen by JS Hovnanian & Sons is located in Clayton and offers a choice of eight different home models for you to choose from. As of this writing, the prices were listed at $284K to $341K for these choice single-family homes.  Aberdeen real estate is some of the most desirable in the area of north New Jersey. It’s near the water, as well as a wildlife preserve that is over 2,000 acres. There are also lots of small lakes nearby. Sound far away from everything? Your Aberdeen home may seem like it’s tucked away in the country, but it’s only a short way to Atlantic City and Philadelphia, and is a reasonable distance to most major airports in the area. It’s also near major highways that run through south Jersey and continue north into New York City. So you can have your country home and still be near the convenience of a city.

Aberdeen Recreation and Activities

  There are golf courses nearby, as well as other types of recreation, including watersports near Keyport and along the beach. If you live in Aberdeen you are only a short drive from major cities that offer everything from clubs to culture, just in case you start craving some nightlife.  Despite the small size of the township, it’s home to many local beautiful parks, including beachfront parks in Cliffwood Beach (which also has a skate park) and various parks with basketball, volleyball, and other sporting courts available.  If you are looking to relocate to this area and have a family, you will be comforted to know some of the Aberdeen area public schools have lower than average class sizes for the state of New JerseyRegardless of the town you choose for your Aberdeen home, get help from a qualified realtor.
